Senior Project Manager (Fire Protection)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of fire protection and relevant Codes of Practice.
  • Oversee and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Administer contracts effectively, including managing project variations and handling adjudication proceedings, particularly under the Security of Payment framework.
  • Lead cost quantification and tender management processes with precision.
  • Work independently and resourcefully, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and commitment to project success.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection or steelworks project management.
  • Strong expertise in contract administration and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct material take-offs and prepare tender submissions.
  • Prepare and manage progress claims and Variation Order (V.O.) claims.
  • Issue payment certificates to subcontractors.
  • Participate in M&E tenders, including costing and contract administration.
  • Adjudication experience and familiarity with the Security of Payment (SOP) Act an advantage.
  • Work independently with a proactive and resourceful approach, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership in completing tasks.
  • Confidently handle V.O. justifications and payment certification matters with main contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Canvass for fire A&A works and fire services maintenance contracts.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Contacts with building management or interior designers an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Fire Protection Code of Practice.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and possess aptitude to make things happen.
  • Min 3 years’ experience in fire protection or M&E related sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administration of maintenance contracts and coordinate job scheduling.
  • Manage and organize service reports and job sheets efficiently.
  • Prepare quotations and handle email correspondence with customers.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials for site installations and manage billing
    processes.
  • Handle accounts receivables and follow up on payments to ensure timely collection.
  • Provide administrative support to the project team and maintain accurate project
    databases.
  • Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a pleasant disposition.
