Fire Services

Fire Project Installations

An innovator in the field of design and technology – J.Keart adopts pre-fabrication technology and deploys computerised machinery to speed up pipes installation process. This resulted in shorter turnaround time for project completion and work productivity is significantly enhanced.

SCDF Submission

Alteration works may compromise fire safety. Installation of partitions, for example, may obstruct a fire escape route, putting the lives of occupants at risk. To mitigate this risk, it is mandatory to engage a Qualified Person (QP) prior to carrying out any proposed alterations that may affect fire safety.

At J.Keart, our team of QPs will ensure that all your building’s fire safety requirements are met, endorsing a plan that we will submit for approval to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) on your behalf. We provide professional advice on Fire Code requirements and personalised service to facilitate prompt approval of your plan by the SCDF. Our team of QPs will assist you in the drafting of the plan and drawing of the layout in accordance with the building regulations and Fire Code. With our wealth of experience as fire-safety specialists, we are well-positioned to assist in obtaining SCDF approval on your behalf.

Our customised services include :

  • A thorough audit and feasibility study of the overall layout of your building
  • Professional advice on the plan
  • Preparation of the required plan in accordance to the Fire Code for submission to SCDF

We specialise in

  • Building plans (including Change of Use, if any)
  • Air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation system (MV) plans
  • Fire protection plans

Fire-Rated Boards and Doors Installation

Fire-rated materials buy occupants time in a fire and, as a result, save lives. A must-have feature in the construction business, fire-rated doors and boards are a form of passive fire protection, providing occupants with up to four hours of fire safety.

As certified suppliers of fire-rated boards and doors, J.Keart provides installation services for a range of partitions, ceilings, box-ups and doors. With boards made from calcium silicate or gypsum plaster, and varying in thickness between 15 mm and 30 mm, our fire-rated boards provide up to four hours of fire protection.

Testament to our expertise in the installation of fire-rated products, we were contracted by Land Transport Authority (LTA) to install fire-rated ceiling boards in the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE) in 2013. With this highly specialised project under our belt, we are well positioned to carry out future expressway tunnels installation works.

Kitchen Wet Chemical Installation

Modern commercial kitchens are highly susceptible to fire. In a setting with open flames, sizzling hot kitchen appliances and grease-laden stoves, fires can spread quickly, and by nature are difficult to extinguish. Don’t take chances, demand the best.

With J.Keart’s Kitchen Wet Chemical Installation, you reduce the risk of out-of-control kitchen fires. Our SETSCO-certified Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems are fully compliant to the Fire Code and combine common-sense features that eliminate the labour intensive task of installing conduit, corner pulleys and detector brackets. This dramatically reduces installation time, so your kitchen can be up and running in no time. What’s more, the uncomplicated design of the systems allows unlimited system configurations to fit with any interior design plans.

Incorporating state-of-the-art misting technology, our Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems give you peace of mind that you can avoid extensive damage to your kitchen by extinguishing potentially deadly kitchen fires as soon as they occur.
